How do I create a profile?

Sign up is free if you are a British Indian single living in the UK. Once registered you can continue to the My Profile tab to complete your profile.

Will it cost me anything to sign up?

It is free to sign up to the Mingle Guru Indian dating service and as a member you will have complete use of the advanced search to find professional Indian singles living in the UK. This allows you to search for Indian singles by distance from your UK postcode, save searches and add members to your favourites list.


Managing My Profile

How do I create and update my profile?

Once you have signed up, as a member you can sign in any time to update your profile. Simply go to the My Profile tab and select the section of your profile you would like to update.

How long will it take for my profile to appear on the site?

Once signed up your profile will be instantly visible. You can complete your information under the My Profile tab and add some photos to your Photo Album at anytime.

Are profiles vetted?

To ensure the quality of our service all profiles are vetted for inappropriate content, and members are encouraged to maintain a complete and up-to-date profile.

How do I temporarily hide my profile?

If you would like to temporarily hide your profile then go to the My Profile tab, and select the Account Settings section. You can change your profile to be visible or hidden at any time.

How can I change my email address?

To change your email address you will need to sign in and update your email in the Basics section of your profile.

How do I change my password?

To change your password you will need to sign in and click on Change Password in the Basics section of your profile.

What do I do if I have forgotten my username or password?

To have your password sent to your registered email address you need to click on Forgotten Password on the sign in page. You will need to confirm your email address or username, and your date of birth to retrieve your password.

How do I cancel my account?

To permanently close your account go to the My Profile tab and select the Account Settings section. Click close account and confirm your password to cancel your account.

Managing My Photos

Why should I add my photo?

For on-line dating a picture really does say a thousand words. Profiles with photos attract up to 7 times more attention than those without. You are far more likely to be contacted, and receive a reply to a message, if add at least one photo to your album.

How many photos can I add?

You can upload up to 10 photos to your album. So make yourself stand out and upload some fun photos showing your personality to your album.

How do I add a photo?

To add a photo go to the My Profile tab and select the Add Photo section where you can upload your high quality digital jpeg files.

How long will it take for my photo to appear on my profile?

Once uploaded your photo will be instantly visible. To ensure the quality of our service all photos are vetted for inappropriate content.

What format does my photo need to be in?

Photo files can be in any popular image format, such as JPEG, JPG, or GIF up to 7 Mb in size. The upload process may take a few minutes depending on the size of your photo and your internet connection.


Subscriptions

What service will I receive as a subscribed member?

Unlimited use of our private messaging area to safely contact members. Unlike other Web sites we do not limit the number of members you can approach.

What is your refund policy?

Subscription payments are non-refundable.


Security

What do I do if I receive an inappropriate message from another member?

If you receive abusive, fraudulent, spam/scam, or any message you feel is inappropriate please report their username immediately and we will investigate and block their account if neccessary.

Is all the information I give you safe and secure?

The Web site has been developed with security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use encryption to ensure that sensitive information such as your password is not stored in plain text.
